“Home Care” encompasses a wide range of health and social services, which are crucial links in health care. These services are delivered at home to recovering, disabled, chronically, or terminally ill persons who require medical, nursing, social, or therapeutic treatment and assistance with essential activities of daily living. With physician orders for home health, anyone can refer a patient or family member to COMPLETE HOME HEALTH. The physician then supervises the individual care of each patient.
Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance companies provide payment for home health care. These programs cover all approved costs when a patient requires skilled nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or a medical social worker, as long as the patient is considered homebound. Additionally, links to health care services ensure that many medical supplies are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. We coordinate the purchase or rental of durable medical equipment from the DME company of the patient’s choice at the patient’s request.
